Our Story

Nick and I met in high school. Although he attended a different high school than I did we were still friends. After high school nick left for a mission to Fukuoka, Japan. I continued through a dental assisting program and assisted for about a year and a half. I was attending the young single adult ward when Nick came home from his mission. I was 20 at the time and was saving up and preparing to serve a mission myself. I began attending the mission prep classes held at the stake center. Little did I know that Nick had recently been given the calling of teaching the missionary prep classes. Well I continued going to them and one class there was an odd number of people and in order to practice partner discussions Nick had to participate. So I was paired up with him, we taught a discussion together and well it went a little too smooth. Lets just say he got my number " for class purposes" and used it to ask me on a date. Our first date went very well and two and a half weeks later we were engaged and two months later we were married. We have been married 3 years now and we are loving life. We live in rexburg where I am attending BYU-Idaho as a Dance Major, and Nick is transferring to ISU in January to attend their Law enforcement program.
